Update - Taste Cafe Show Rescheduled.

Due to various events popping up around Memorial day, the May 30th installation has been re-scheduled for June 4th. So, by the 5th my artwork should be hanging at Safety Harbor's Taste Cafe.

This is a giclee show - photos on canvas - and an opportunity for me to display the new line of giclee tiles. These 6x6x1 canvas squares display scenes from local beaches, wildlife, seascapes, floral closeups, and more. They make excellent gifts for birthdays and holidays and look great in clusters on large walls. Produced by Menaul Printing in Clearwater, these canvas pieces are treated to resist sun fading and moisture, so they can be displayed in high humidity rooms - kitchens and baths - and can be displayed outdoors. Come by and enjoy my artwork with a drink or meal. Taste Cafe is located at 500 Main Street in Safety Harbor, Florida. For information call 727.723.1116 or visit http://www.tastesafetyharbor.com/

Contratulations to Kristy and Paul

A special shout out to my co-worker Kristy and her husband Paul. Kristy always keeps the mood light at work - we've come to expect her energy and enthusiasm. Earlier this month we gave her a special send-off, prior to her Hawaii honeymoon, by disguising a wedding party as an office conference. The guest of honor walked into the meeting room expecting metrics and the usual department pep-talk, but found a feast set by her friends and her fiance waiting. Congratulations you two!

   You're Very Welcome :)   L.

Starting up

Greetings Reader!

I'm new to blogging, but hope to get the most out of this site. My name is Lyle Polyak, and I am a nature photographer in the sunshine state. My occupation takes me all over Tampa Bay, and across Florida on photo road trips to St. Augustine, Key West and Sanibel to name a few places. My work revolves around the scenery and wildlife that makes Florida special, and I sell these same portraits to local businesses who are interested in art for board rooms, waiting areas and the like. I aspire to capture photos for a nature or wildlife magazine, but I have to be "discovered" first. If you would like to see my work go to www.themindscapeartfoundry.com. I'm hoping for many future posts on this site to document shows I have participated in and developments with my small business. Thanks for reading!
